Maureen Murphy is Professor of Curriculum and Teaching, Director of the Secondary English programs and Co-Director of the undergraduate Irish Studies minor in HCLAS.

She has served as Interim Dean of the School of Education and Health and Human Services (2005-2008), the University's Dean of Students for more than a decade and acting Chair of the Department of Curriculum and Teaching.
